Eureka! After an exhausting search of the world (via a wide web of electronic connections), I finally found a tub drain system that fits into the same color scheme as my new Danze oil rubbed bronze faucets.

Since the tub is a Kohler Villager, I began by looking at Kohler tub drains. Unfortunately, the color that I want has been discontinued. (Plebians cannot dream of oil rubbed bronze?) So, I began to look for other faucet producers with a product in the desired color. The trick was finding a line with similar coloring, the same type of waste pipe (plastic v. bronze), and the correct distance from tub side to the drain and overflow openings of the drain mechanism. (In other words, unroll the specifications!)

While Danze does make replacement parts that can be used to match drains to their faucets (compliments to Danze for thinking it through!), I would still be missing a drain. Looking a bit farther, the American Standard universal drain had the wrong dimensions. But, the Delta...well, it can be adjusted to a perfect fit and the color (Venetian bronze) seems to be in the same family.

Here is a link to the Delta tub drain, in case anyone has a Kohler Villager tub and wants to find an oil rubbed bronze drain. To me, it is a substantially similar color.
